Vivek is one of three guardians -- alongside Femi and Babu -- that Bastet placed to watch over the Good Luck Cats after they reached ancient Egypt, gifted with teleportation and time travel to move between all eighteen unseen. Through the Battle of Kadesh and the two millennia of Egyptian prosperity that followed it, the three guardians filed reports on the cats' safety straight back to Neterios. When Cleopatra and Ptolemy broke that covenant, it was Vivek who acted -- he scattered the eighteen cats across the earth himself, out of reach of the divine falling-out, and assigned each one to the guardian who still protects it today. He continues to coordinate that network from Thailand, keeping every cat hidden, and stands in direct opposition to Salugi, Anubis's emissary hunting them for the other side.
