King Muwatalli

King Muwatalli II, Great King of the Hittite Empire and Ramesses II's rival at Kadesh. He read Ramesses' overconfidence before the battle began, fed him false spies who claimed the Hittite army was still far off, and sprung his own army from ambush right outside the city walls in 1274 BC, nearly breaking the young Pharaoh in the opening hour. Ramesses held the line only after Bastet appeared to him and lent her power, with Vivek and the eighteen Good Luck Cats turning the battle at his side. Muwatalli's own defense of Kadesh held long enough that neither side could claim outright victory -- the fight ended in the world's first known peace treaty, its terms cut into a tablet both kings signed and sealed.
